Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RevRent ("RevRent," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit revrentsolutions.com, contact us, or use our rental-management platform (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit our "Get started" / contact form we collect your name, business name, email, phone (optional), fleet size, market, and any message. If you create an operator account, we collect account and business details.
- Operator and booking data. Operators using the Service input data about their fleet, pricing, customers, and bookings. RevRent processes this on the operator's behalf (see Section 6).
- Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment processor — currently Authorize.net, and Stripe for some operators. We do not store full card numbers; the processor handles card data under its own terms and security standards.
- Automatically collected. Usage data, device/browser type, pages viewed, and IP address, collected via cookies and analytics.
2. How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
- Respond to inquiries and provide support;
- Process bookings and payments;
- Send service-related and, where permitted, marketing communications (you can opt out);
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage and improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser and opt out of Google Analytics via Google's opt-out tools.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Service — e.g., Authorize.net and Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Render (hosting), and Google Analytics — under contracts limiting their use;
- Legal & safety — when required by law or to protect rights and safety;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
SMS / text messaging
Where a renter provides a mobile number and consents at checkout, RevRent sends service-related text messages on the operator's behalf — booking confirmations, delivery updates, and return reminders. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion (see Section 7).
6. Operators and their customers
For data that operators collect from their own renters through the Service, the operator is the controller of that data and RevRent acts as a processor on the operator's behalf. Renters should contact the relevant operator regarding their data.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at april@pensago.co.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above.
